Bubble Paint Art
We went to the State Museum and did the coolest art project. It was Bubble Paint Art! They mix tempera paint with bubbles in a dish pan. You then take a straw and blow bubbles into the bubble/paint mixtures. Once you have a mountain of bubbles, simply lay your art paper on top of it to let them pop onto the paper. Then lift, move on to the next color and start all over again. At the end you have a beautiful painting with a mixture of colors. What fun! It is art and play mixed together. The girls had a blast with it!

A Glimpse of Spring
Today we were blessed with a gorgeous sunny day and a high of about 69 degrees! No inside chores today. Everyone was outside enjoying the day. The little girls played outside all day and dug in the dirt, built a campground on the driveway (grass is still a little soggy) and run scooters. Later in the day, the family went to the field to fly a kite. It was almost too windy for kite flying, but Dad and girls managed to keep one up there. The winds were so strong they almost picked Kaylee up and took her away!

Little Miss Sunshine turns "5"!
My baby, Little Miss Sunshine turned 5 years old today. She was going to have a few girls over from our homeschool co-op for a cowgirl party, but the flu hit our house this week pretty hard. We celebrated with the family including her big sisters A & J as well as Rainbow Girl. Little Miss Sunshine's grandma, Grangan, was also here visiting from Connecticut. It was a lot of fun.
